My Latest Mistake

So, I thought I was being so organized - I got our Christmas cards out the first week or so of December.... Well, to all of you who are just as confused as I was (I don't touch the actual cards, Shutterfly prints and mails them directly to you) I accidentially had my Aunt Cathy's address assigned as the return address. I am SO SORRY CATHY!! I hope you don't mind getting all of my non-deliverable cards!! For those of you who are confused - It was just a simple mistake, perhaps a shake of the hand while I clicked the mouse, and so odvious I never even thought to check. I still live in NJ...

Lets see - every time I mail something out there seems to be a mistake. In case you didn't notice, my birth announcement for Max stated that he was born on March 19th - It was really Feb 19th. I hope that he doesn't get the Lydia phenomenon, where no one can remember if her birthday is on the 20th, or the 21st... Max will be celebrating his birthday in March instead of Febuary. (Please help me remember!!)

Max Loves taking a bath

Max is growing up so fast.  He is so cute right now.  I love how  he bounces when he is happy or excited.  He also loves taking a bath...

Makes me laugh

I wish I was able to post some pics of Sarah's birthday, and of Max being silly in the tub, and Luke's new haircut - but all of my photos are at home (and hopefully I will post more this weekend). So since I had some time to check out all of your blog spots today, I thought I would update mine with the latest video that makes me laugh. They may be speaking a different language, but at least humor is universal...

First Day of School

Sarah and Luke were pretty excited to start their first day of school. They love going to school (I hope it lasts) and mom loves it too!!

Luke's stitches

So this was the first time one of our kids has had stitches. Luke, according to Sarah, was trying to be like superman and pick up the TV. It fell first on his head, then it dropped on his toes. We were lucky this wasn't any worse. Thank heavens for plastic surgeons. I hope this wont scar too bad...

Sarah the singing sister

Sarah is truly an Allen, I can tell it is in her blood. She can't stop singing. Always, everyday, no matter where we are she is singing. It makes me laugh, and sometimes it is really cute...

My Lukie Lau

I am not sure where this kid came from... but he always makes me laugh. He was desperate to be part of Sarah's dance recital, so he was trying to convince me that he could dance... And he could, what a smile, what a move... not many of the kids in the recital were able to put their moves together with a face quite like this.

Sarah's Dress Rehersal

I don't know why it made me want to cry.

This was the cutest thing ever.

Sarah rocked.

A Day in My Life

So I get home from work, start to unwind a bit, and Sarah tells me that she painted her toes today. I knew I smelt something funny...

She actually did a pretty good job for a 4 1/2 yr old. Only one small smudge on an old carpet that I could care less about. So it is okay to laugh.

Next, I have to laugh at my husband. Mr. Mom. So, what do you call this??

I call it annoying, he calls it wait until everything is done before you put it away.

By the way, Max is pretty cute...

Sarah and Luke love him..

And Luke sleeps like a log, or like he is pretty tired.......

Rainy Days

My first outing with the three kids - we went to the park, and it started to pour on us. Luckily Max stayed dry and happy, and the rest of us got soaking wet... These photos are of the kids putting their new boogie boarding skills to use in the gutter water in front of grandma's house...

This is my favorite thing about Luke, he loves to play with his toys. I would have never imagined that little boys could be so attached to their 'little guys' or cars, or trucks or whatever toy it happens to be for the day.

We really got POURED on. I call her strawberry in this outfit...

Hukilau - lets go fly a kite

Grandma and Grandpa bought the kids a kite. Grandpa had to bring his kiteboarding kite to show the kids - it was a fun day, inspite of a few minor spills...

Opps, not sure what he tripped on. At least he didn't even think of letting go of the kite string.

Adjusting to life in Hawaii (and grandpa Allen)

We finally made it to Hawaii, got over the jet lag... Sarah keeps saying "I hope the beach isn't frozen" and Luke is getting braver in the water.

I love how Grandpa gently pushes them to their limits... Teaching them how to boogie board before they can even swim... Of course they can do it. Why does this bring back memories of my childhood??

Five turtles the day we checked out turtle beach.

Picture perfect...

Duck duck chicken, pulling Luke's leg, don't take his bath - why is grandpa so wierd??

Max's Birth

Our first photo collection of Max - his first week, through the delivery room, to the first meeting of his family, to some attempts at a photo shoot at home. Warning - this slide show requires high GTL (gross tolerance threshold) Koya can't handle it. There is some muchonium on Max. Trust me, I also wish they would have wiped it off of him before they handed him to me, but hey it was 4:30 AM, and there wasn't much I could do about it... I also couldn't spare some details on my memory of the labor, so brace yourself...
